How do I care for my table?
Your table is finished to ensure maximum protection from wind, rain, and other outdoor elements. It can be left outdoors for extended periods of time, however wear and weathering will naturally occur over time should you choose to leave your table outside. To maximize the look and life of your table, we suggest folding your table’s legs and storing it flat in an enclosed area when not in use. We also suggest purchasing a custom cover, available here, to further protect your table. Our covers are made from waterproof, UV & tear-resistant fabric, are built to protect against extreme weather conditions, and are custom cut to fit each size oyster table.
How do I care for my turn table?
While your turn table is finished to ensure maximum outdoor protection, we suggest keeping all turn tables stored inside when not in use.
What if I would like a color finish, font, or image engraved on my table that is not available on your website?
Please send us an email through our Contact Us page regarding your desired specifications. We are happy to work with you and discuss your requests with our team to bring your vision to life! Custom requests not offered on our website may come at an additional fee/cost, which will be addressed during the consulting process.
Will my table look identical to the product image on the website?
The product images on our website are of actual Charleston Oyster Table products. Each table is wholly unique and its end aesthetic will vary depending on the individual characteristics of the wood from which it was constructed. Shou Sugi Ban tables are highly variable in final look and aesthetic as the technique enhances the unique characteristics and striations of the wood being burned. Stained tables may vary slightly in color saturation due to individual characteristics of the wood and the manual nature of the staining process. All in all, your table is a unique piece of art that cannot be replicated or reproduced in its exact form.
Do you ship nationally and how long does shipping take?
Yes! We ship nation-wide. All tables are made-to-order due to their customized nature and lead times will vary depending on order volume at the time your order is placed. Shipping is done through third-party shipping partners who provide door-to-door white-glove delivery. Our shipping partners’ availability for quick delivery is dependent upon delivery destination and their own delivery-load at the time pick-up for delivery is requested. While our estimated lead time for orders in the South Carolina area is 4 to 6 weeks, national lead times from date of order placement to delivery may be longer. If you are ordering a table for a specific event, we suggest placing your order at least two months in advance to ensure your table is delivered by your event date. Please make sure to review our Terms of Purchase prior to order placement and to contact us if you have any questions.
Do you rent tables for events?
We do not offer direct to consumer rental services at this time. Our tables are available for purchase by event rental and party supply companies. These base tables feature interchangeable side boards which can be customized-engraved to compliment their clients’ specific events.
